Luke's 17th & 18th Weeks

Chris's 1st Father's Day!!!

Another 2 weeks have flown by and Luke just continues to grow! He is officially getting a Budah Belly, and chunky chunky legs...they are so CUTE we just want to squeeze them all the time! I told Chris we may not have a quarterback but a lineman on our hands! :)

We started the past two weeks off with meeting my friend Krystal's baby boy Braden. Krystal and I have been friends since kindergarten and she just had a baby 5 weeks ago. Braden is soooo CUTE and reminded me of how much Luke has grown. I was having a hard time remembering Luke that small and that was only 4 1/2 months ago, thank GOD for photos and videos! Luke is looking forward to many more play dates with Braden, especially since we both live in Diamond Bar.

We also celebrated my mom's 50th birthday. The weekend prior we threw her a surprise party at her house. We got her so good, and her best friend from Nebraska even flew out for the special occasion. On my mom's actual birthday we went to Claim Jumper to celebrate with just the immediate family.

Another family friend was in town from Colorado and we were able to spend some time together. Amanda used to be my next door neighbor and we have known each other since we were 3 years old. Mandy and I both have birthday's in November, and ended up having sons 2 weeks apart in February. Her mom was the one who was in the C-section with me when Luke was born. It is so much fun to have so many friends with babies right around Luke's age!

The next week we had a play date at the West Covina mall with Uncle Luis and Luke's cousin Elle. We can't wait till Luke is old enough to run around with Elle.

Luke's Lolo (Filipino name for grandpa) just celebrated his 71st birthday. We had a SURPRISE birthday dinner at Buca di Beppo for him since Italian food is his favorite. He had no idea and was so surprised. We all enjoyed a great meal and had fun celebrating another birthday!

Father's Day was such a special day. We went to Church with my family and then headed to my aunt's house for a BBQ and pool day. Luke wore his special outfit that said (My Dad is My Hero). Chris is a wonderful daddy and it is so neat to see the bond grow between my husband and son.
